Here comes 2018
2017 has closed out with a flurry, high kill numbers have seen the tanneries going strong, and increased Ag sector confidence has been a welcome sight. Here at WHL we are winding down (maintaining a skeleton crew on non stat days) and taking stock of the highs and lows of the past calendar year. IOQ Conference 2015 – Hamilton
This years Institute of Quarrying conference held in Hamilton was themed “Forging a path to the Future” Earlier in the year Worksafe inspectors made their way around 26 sites in New Zealand assessing each on strict criteria for safe work environments. HB BMX Club upgrades track in Havelock North
Romanes Reserve, an empty plot on Romanes Drive, has been transformed to accommodate a new 7000sq m BMX track. For the last four years the HB BMX Club has been working towards replacing the old smaller, shorter track, as it wasn’t up to national standards; with the hopes that it will help see a resurgence in the sport in Hawke’s Bay.
